Grace has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy which she completed at Charles Sturt University, Albury, NSW; graduating in 2017.
Before joining Patches Port Hedland, Grace worked in a Residential Aged Care Facility providing Allied Health services to 65 residents. Within this role, she provided residents and staff with a range of services including equipment prescription, basic and advanced manual handling training, dementia education and assessment and application for Aged Care Funding.
Grace has worked with children and adults with a range of diagnoses and learning difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Amputee and Motor Neuron Disease (MND). One of her fields of speciality and passion is working with children and adults requiring complex equipment and home modifications, having completed further training in this area.
Grace began working with Patches in 2019. In Grace’s spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with friends and exploring the Pilbara.
