Kelly has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy which she completed at Curtin University, Perth; graduating in 2009.
Before joining Patches, Kelly worked in both government and private organisations providing therapy to adults and children with developmental delays, disabilities and mental health diagnoses. She has worked in a variety of settings including homes, clinics and schools, providing one to one and group therapy. Kelly originally started her career working rurally in the Wheatbelt, were she developed a passion for rural health. She also has a passion for working with children with sensory processing needs and behaviour support.
In 2016 Kelly also completed a Graduate Diploma of Primary Education at Edith Cowen University, Perth. From 2017-2019 she taught year one in a Wheatbelt District High School. She returned to Occupational Therapy in 2021 with Patches, working in the Wheatbelt.
In Kelly’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her young family and friends. Her weekends are full of playing or watching sport at the local sporting club.
