Sarah O'Loughlin

Occupational Therapist

Sarah has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree which she completed at Southern Cross University, Gold Coast in 2015.

Before joining Patches, Sarah worked in both the private and public sector and has worked extensively throughout the Central Australia remote communities as an Occupational Therapist for NT Government’s Remote Allied Health Team. It was in this role that she discovered her passion for paediatrics and relocated to Adelaide to work for Autism SA in order to upskill in the paediatric field. Since returning to Alice Springs in 2020, Sarah has combined her 2 passions of adult and paediatric Occupational Therapy to provide services for NDIS participants of all ages.

Sarah has worked with children and adults with a range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Parkinson’s Disease and Acquired Brain Injuries. Sarah has completed additional training in Positive Behaviour Support and the SOS approach to Feeding.
Sarah has been working with Patches since January 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys performing in local cabaret shows, swing dancing and training her camp dog, Kasey.
