Sheridan has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy which she completed at The University of Notre Dame, Fremantle; graduating in 2021.
Before joining Patches Sheridan worked as a disability support worker with a 22-year-old male with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, for 2 years while completing university. This role provided Sheridan with a great overview and understanding of what it is to be involved with the NDIS and a passion to work in the disability sector.
Sheridan grew up in Kununurra and once completing university wanted to combine living rurally and working with NDIS participants. Her passion for rural health and paediatrics means she is constantly on the hunt for relevant Professional Development and is due to complete a short course later this year through Monash university; Enhancing Skills in the Paediatric Physiotherapy.
Sheridan has the capacity to complete both group and individual sessions to help enhances participants functional capacity to help them achieve their goals.
In her spare time Sheridan enjoys baking, hiking, camping and everything the Kimberley region has to offer.
